Another busy weekend.. The kids, Manny and I had a busy weekend. Thursday we had Dylan stay the night for a promised sleepover, we stayed up late, popped alot of popcorn and stayed up late watching movies. The next night we had a fun sleep out, fort set-up in the living room and again just hung out all day and watched only one movie because we had to get up early on Saturday. Woke up early Saturday, made a quick breakfast and headed out the door. Manny, Jurnee, Dylan and Maddox went to Jurnee's basketball game and Drew, Yzabella and I headed over to Yzabella's cheer competition at I.S.U. Then we met up after wards took Jurnee,Yzabella, Dylan and Drew to a Birthday party and Maddox over to grandpa's house so we could get to a funeral. After the funeral (1:00-4:00)( One of Manny's friends passed this week from a heart attack or heart related problems, he was only 46, very sad, probably the biggest funeral I have personally ever been to, even the funeral guy/owner/ said it was by far the biggest funeral he has ever seen there. He was such a nice guy. Life is so precious you just never know.) We went and got the kids Maddox and Drew and the other kids went to a movie. By the time we got home it was 7:45 so we ended the night with another crazy living room sleepover, watched movies and ate lots of fattening snacks. Of course Drew is our 6;00 wake up call he just wakes up smiling (to cute) but he will learn Auntie doesn't smile until after her first cup of coffee that early LOL. I had promised the kids chocolate chip pancakes so we had those for lunch. Manny headed off to Arizona Sunday morning for another fun filled week of fun!! So I think all the kids had a fun busy weekend. Cara and Jared got into town about 4:30 so the kids went home and from my understanding crashed. Cara went down Friday for her routine heart check-up, and then they decided to perform surgery on her that Saturday morning, so Jared finished his test here in Pocatello and then drove down to SLC that evening and Cara's sister Pillar came home. They put a pacemaker and affibulator in her. The surgery went well and she came home Sunday. I know she is in alot of pain but she will get through this because she is such a fighter and survivor. Please everyone just keep her in their prayers. Jurnee had no school again so this has been a four day weekend for the kids. The other big issue around her e has been do we send the sixth graders to Junior High...Thank goodness Jurnee's school was NOT one of the schools chosen for the transfer, I'm not ready for Jurnee to be in Junior School and I don't think Jurnee is ready either. Maddox is off the bottle completely poor little mans world has been rocked, but now he is sleeping through the night it was a rough couple of nights but we all made it through. I think Manny had the hardest time when he cried in the middle of the night poor Manny. But we will all sleep better now and our baby will be a toddler now.It sounds as if everyone is keeping busy so hope all is well in your busy lives.........Love YA
